brian crackow and duckie (ducky?) from pretty in pink always seemed so trod upon, unappreciated and so obviously loveable and hot to me when i was younger. like they should've gotten a break from the leading ladies in each show. but the more i think about it now, the more i realize how annoying they would actually be to deal with 24/7.

I ADORED Ducky when I was younger, but you're right - recent viewings of Pretty in Pink have just made me notice how annoying he could be.

As for Brian Krakow - I didn't like him when I was younger. He was annoying and whiny, and I didn't like/understand his lust for Angela. And when he dissed that fat girl at the dance (and she ended up dancing with Ricky, hooray for fat girls+ gays), I just hated him more.

Now, I just think that Devon Gummersall is hot.
