I told some co-workers about The Ramirez and they all said it sounded like a good idea. They seemed sincere. I was thinking about it on the way home, and the plot seems very Bottle Rocket-y.
The Shape of Things is on teevee now. I am going to go watch it!

Oh man, I just looked at the Comic-Con schedule for Saturday... I am going to be busy! Jude Law will be there promoting The World of Tomorrow, and there will be an Adrian Tomine panel and a panel about the graphic novel of Birth of a Nation and another one about the Gendering of Comics. Also, I need to visit Sierra and the Top Shelf Table. Fantagraphics. Drawn and Quarterly. Bongo. Terry Moore. My brain is going to explode. Ack.
Now I am off to read The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. I've only read the first two books in the series before this.

Well. I think I've given up on the dream of growing my hair long and then dyeing it pretty colors. The first part, at least. I managed to forget that my hair grows wide, not long. It looks disastrous, and I'm kinda getting tired of pigtails. I wore it "down" today and I am just completely mortified.
Something new? Or just the usual?
Stupid curly jerk hair.
