I went into work early yesterday so that I could get out early and then hit the AMC Mission Valley 20 for a midnight screening of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
This is the crow's latest outfit. I love it, don't you?
Anne and I waited, along with Therese, Shelley, Mike, and Lauren. There were plenty of other people there, some in costumes and whatnots. The news, of course, was there.
I took a picture of the camera operator. Yep. I got there at about 10.40p, and they let us in at 11p. Once in, I crocheted a bit and talked with Anne. We ended up sharing nachos and red vines, and then, finally, the previews started. They were all pretty bad, except for the Spider-Man 2 one, I suppose.
Then, finally, the titles. I squirmed out of excitement. The film was much more beautiful than the two previous ones. The castle was different, the layout of the grounds was not the same, and I was grateful for the new director. I was most suprised at how much Neville Longbottom had grown. Hagrid actually looked huge for once, and Professor Lupin was great. I love love loved it, and I recommend it.
Anne and I noticed that if you dyed Draco Malfoy's hair black and poked several holes in his face and then dangled jewelry from them... well, he'd look like Joel.
